When I was 26 years old, I flew to a foreign country for the very first time: from the United States to Greece. I was hooked forever on the lure of travel. Twenty-three years later, I have traveled extensively in Europe and in Central America. I want to begin going to South America and Asia soon. Also Africa(have only been to Morocco and Sierra Leone). I am a self-employed health professional, with limited time off, but I try to make the best of it. I try visiting new places each year, and only repeat going to those which are extra special. Some of my travel is under the direction of humanitarian help: delivering health care to those who are under-served, or have no opportunity at all to receive the care they require. I enjoy discovering new (to me) cultural experiences while traveling. Whether in a cosmopolitan city or the deepest rural area, there is always something wonderful to experience.
