I am a simple poor Russian guy who, living behind the Iron Curtain, was doomed to only dream of traveling. I studied foreign languages and went in for skydiving. Once Luck smiled on me: in 1993 I was enrolled to a so-called North Pole International Parachute Expedition. I stayed with the expedition for 10 consecutive years being one of the organizers. Then I managed to go to Antarctica and some other places in between. I would like to carry on. I do what I can to extend my traveling geography coping with financial and political realities.
In 2005 I was very fortunate to meet Charles Veley with who we traveled almost all over Russia by road visiting 77 out of 89 Russian territorial entities.
I am not competing with you guys. I just try to visit as many as I can and to see as much as I can.
If you need assistance in traveling around Russia, please see my website and contact me.
My Favorite Places:
Places I have not been yet are the most attractive.
The more a place differs from what I am accustomed to, the more impressive it is.
