MTP Voting
MTP's list of locations is unique because it is shaped by direct election from the MTP membership. This page is where that happens. The candidates below are the ones which have received the most nominations by members over the last year. You can nominate a new candidate at the bottom of this page.

In order to vote, you must be logged in and a Voting Member. Voting Members either have visited 100 locations, or participated in voting prior to July 3, 2008. Voting members see these same results, but also have the ability to vote directly on this page.

The Voting Scorecard shows all current candidates for election, how many votes each has received to-date, what percentage of the active membership has voted, and what percentage of voters accept that candidate.

Clicking on any candidate's name brings background information on the candidate, just as for active MTP locations. Members may post information and photos related to any candidate they have visited, and in that way may make a case to the other members for or against acceptance.

In order to be accepted, at least 1/3 of active voting-eligible members must have voted on that candidate, and at least 50% of those voters must have accepted that candidate.

Group candidates may be expanded to view all individual components of the group, but the group can only be voted on as a whole.

Once a candidate is accepted or rejected from this list, the current nominee with the most nominations will become a candidate.
