am 18, I just graduated from High school. I lived in Ontario for 14 years and Minnesota for 4. I belong to a marketing club for High School students across the world called DECA. In May 2008 i won first place in the world for emerging Entrepreneurs which makes me 1st out of about 7000 participants in this event and one of 36 out of 180,000 first places from the 2008 year of DECA. The business i won my award with was a franchise called Bath Fitter and i plan to start this company within the next year to pay for my travels. Like most people belonging to this site, i show great adulation towards travel. To me the reason for this lies with my Dutch ancestry. I guess in a way i am stuck with the desire to discover, something that would bode well back in the 1500's and on because at that time there was still so many things to be discovered. I feel like today we received the butt end of the deal because all land is discovered (for that matter we can see everything on satellite through google maps). Today there is no mystery of "the southern continent" or any of that. However, there is one thing we can do to salvage this great feeling of discovery. That being, traveling to everywhere. I hope to do this as soon as possible.
