I was born in Laredo, Texas, USA , but for my first 13 years in life I lived in Mexico so my first language is Spanish. I can also handle French and Italian a little bit.I have brothers who travel just as much or more than me. I have been married for many years.I have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. My first time in another Continent was when I was 15 years old, and I went to Europe with my family.Since then I have not stopped traveling. Now, I think I am addicted. I can not be home more than three months straight.I used to travel with my children because my husband doesn't like to travel. Now that both are married and they can not go as often as I want, I found a group of friends, and I go with them everywhere all the time.I love to go now to third world countries and the most dangerous and difficult places.(I think I like adventure????) My last trip was Uganda , Rwanda , Burundi and D.R.Congo....I just loved it!!!!I love to explore, meet people, sit on a bench in a park and just watch, poke around markets and observe religious services in all the places I go. I never expect a place to be as I imagined it, so most of the time I enjoy every trip.I can never replicate a trip. Even if I go many times to the same places I have been before. My experience wouldn't be the same.I think that's what traveling should be about. To expect the unexpected, to meet the people, to learn a different culture, enjoy everything like a local, and follow your instincts.I am always ready for a new experience and get excited from the planning of the trip up to the return.Any trip it doesn't matter where or how long I go, it will be something I will never forget and will remember forever.
My Favorite Places:
I love Machu Pichu, and go back any time I can. Istanbul, Paris, Easter Island, Uzbekistan, Buenos Aires, Bhutan, Bali. Right now my favorite destination is Africa.
