Serial entrepreneur and fine art photographer, I started traveling when I was two. By the time I was 14, I'd been to all 50 states, traveling by car and camping (OK, we flew to Hawaii). My mother was a travel freak, so we would have every spare moment planned out of where to go. Later, when she was dying from breast cancer, she still managed to visit India, Europe several times and Antarctica. My favorites are places where the indigenous cultures are still intact, sometimes in spite of overwhelming globalism. In particular, I enjoy walking about, meeting local people and taking pictures. I just returned from five days in Hong Kong and China, where I did a press check on a book of my photographs being published by powerHouse. A great quick trip. Glad I found this site, now I know what I've missed -- and there's so much to see! My to go list right now includes Peru (this April), the western Mediterranean (Greece, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Libya) hopefully this summer (yes, it will be hot) and Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.
My Favorite Places:
Bali and Java, the island of Tanna, Vanuatu, the South of France, Baja California
