Love to travel in all kinds of ways - by airplane, cruise ship, train, blimp, car, horse or mule, camel, elephant, bike, and even on my own two feet! Remember, it isn't just the destination but the adventure to get there! I am a Computer Network Engineer of 23 years, who has returned to college for a degree in medicine to begin a second career and a new era in my life. A few of my achievements include SCUBA certification, private pilot's license, certified and licensed EMT and Wilderness EMT, certified as a boat Captian, certified Skydiver, certified mountaineer, and a licensed ham radio operator - KI4LDZ.
I began my travels across the United States by car and plane when I was very young. I had driven in every state in the continental United States by the time I had turned 30 (mostly due to my work as an CNE). My first international flights were when I traveled with my family to Mexico, UK, and France when I was a child. As I got older, I expanded both my areas of travel and my selection of how to travel. I hope to travel to all 872 countries by the end of my lifetime. However, it isn't just the act of making it there, but the experiences, people, and adventures that are found along the way.
My Favorite Places:
While I have spent a lot of time in the sea and in the Caribbean and really enjoy the warm tropical atmosphere and clear blue waters found there, my favorite places tend to be deep in the outback where the mountains are high and rugged like what is found along the Sierra and Rocky Mountains in the United States.
