My husband Amador Garcia-Prades (also a member in this lovely club) and I feel great passion for the travels.
During our youth we travelled all around Western Europe with our van, and when we had children (two, one girl and one boy) we took them with us, of course. Afterwards, at 60, when we retired from work (we both worked during several years in the Embassy of Iran in Switzerland) we started to explore the world with cruises to Antarctica, Svalbard Islands, Greenland, Mediterranean Sea, etc. and by means of individual journeys, practically never buying a tourist package to the travel agencies, but adopting the backpackers way of travelling, improvising along our journeys thanks to our knowledge of several foreign languages.
We are now both over 80 years old, but still keep on travelling (in July 2007 we will spend one month in Philippines Islands, at the adventure, without any hotel reservation, just arriving there and find out on the spot where to sleep and what to visit).
We are sure that by travelling you keep younger (at least internally). Indeed, travelling is living!!!
