I have over 20 years experience in Cooperation and Humanitarian Assistance.
I started working as a volunteer in Refugee Camps during the war in Former Yugoslavia (Bosnia & Croatia) where after a few months I helped creating the NGO SOS Balkanes, and then collaborating with them between 1992 and 1994.
In April 1994 I was called by Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) to be sent to the Rwandan Humanitarian Crisis in the Great Lakes Region (Rwanda & Tanzania) and since then till October 2010, I have been involved in different humanitarian projects with MSF (www.msf.org & www.msf.es).
In October 2010 I decided together with my family (wife & 2 children (4 & 9 years old at that time), to make a round the world trip (www.vueltaalmundoenfamilia.com) in order to show my kids different cultures and realities for them to grow up open minded, tolerant and free of prejudgments.
During this trip (July 2011 - January 2013) and after having the chance to live with different disadvantaged communities around the world we decided to create an NGO named Educaction (www.educaction.org) with the purpose of attending disadvantaged populations in order to achieve a more just, equitable and sustainable world. Educaction works directly with the communities improving their access to the education as the main pillar for development.
In July 2013, I rejoined Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) as Logistics Coordinator in México.
