I was born and raised in Bogota, studied in Philadelphia and worked in the flower business back in Colombia for fifteen years. Currently, and for the last 12 years, I have been managing a mid-size hotel in Bogota. I developed my passion for travel early on as summers were spent visiting my grandparents in Budapest. I take one or two major trips per year, and eventually squeeze in short ones while on business. I spend my time in between Bogota and Miami whenever I am not somewhere exotic and far.

Usually I tend to fall for the remote and isolated: Western Mongolia (Altai Mts), Jungle river trips, deserts landscapes (Sahara, Tibet, Atacama). Nicest people: the Burmese.
